The two LIFT programmes in Doncaster and Barnsley have been running for five years and have delivered 12 projects. The procurement process targets continual improvement for each subsequent scheme. BCM’s modelling facilities have enabled the implementation of strategic design decisions to achieve these improvements.
From the outset of the process the buildings have been achieving low energy usage well below the PCT targets. CO2 emissions will continue to reduce on subsequent buildings.
