BCM undertake a pro-active role in the infrastructure planning process in what is an increasingly complex and difficult area. We open negotiations with the Utility companies at the earliest opportunity in order that the risks to cost and programme can be minimised from the outset.

We have developed in-house systems which result in us obtaining preferential treatment from the Utility companies. Utility quotations are frequently challenged, and if possible we endeavour to establish negotiating positions to reduce the increasingly high costs quoted by the Utilities.

Whilst we can never guarantee to reduce the quotations, we have achieved some significant successes with savings of tens of thousands of pounds.
