** BCM can self certify Part L Compliance**
BCM are now one of the first consultancies in the country to have their engineers pass the requirement of the low carbon consultancy register. We are now fully authorised to be able to self-certify Part L compliance. This is a real benefit to our clients and provides added security to the design process.
It is also recognition of the personal commitment and achievement of our engineers, Andy Ringland and Rich Hart. Their interest and enthusiasm will help BCM to deliver designs of the optimum quality required by our clients and ensure compliance with the demanding aspects of Part L of the Building Regulations.

Our Clients are finding real benefit from the Dynamic Thermal Models. Whilst they often start out apprehensive about the implications, they find that the modelling exercise is providing them with opportunities to maximise their own commercial opportunities.
The best way to see how powerful models are is to visit our offices where we can demonstrate real outputs on live projects and you can see how these relate to your needs.
Contact us now to arrange a demonstration at info@bcmconsulting.co.uk

BCM's seminar on the implications of the new Part L of the Building Regulations was held on 10 February 2006 and attended by over 50 colleagues from the construction industry. The seminar proved to be very successful and there have been several requests to present the talk to a number of individual organisations.
If you would like BCM to provide the presentation to your organisation please contact info@bcmconsulting.co.uk.

BCM are pleased to announce that we have now successfully moved to larger offices within our current prestigious city centre premises, Portland Tower. This second move in a space of two years reflects our steady growth, together with a healthy order book which has grown alongside our reputation. The move is part of our strategy to offer more specialist services to the Construction Industry. We have been planning the move for some time and are now able to provide the enhanced services with our improved facilities. Our commitment to providing a personal service to our clients remains a fundamental part of our philosophy.
Building Simulation
We have made considerable investment in our computer modelling capabilities, eg. when a naturally ventilated building is required, we can predict the temperatures within the space at different times of the day over the year. We use this to work alongside the architect and QS to select the positions of the opening windows, together with the glazing and fabric specifications. This facility is extremely powerful, provides real benefits to the completed project and enables objective decisions to be made on where to spend money. The modelling facilities are available as a specialist service on projects where we may not be appointed as designers.
IT Solutions
Through our sister company (IT’s Solved Ltd) we are now able to offer added value with the option of delivering a complete IT/Telecoms project management and delivery service. We are able to arrange a seamless supply, installation, commission and management with a complete tailor made solution to match clients’ requirements. Clients choose to purchase the equipment or alternatively we can arrange suitable finance packages. This service allows a smooth transition from building completion to user occupation.
